has performance and standard features found on sea
scooters costing twice as much. Powerful 250 watt motor. Dives
to100 feet. All steel gears, shafts, and bearings. Three point water
seal system. High end CMOS Controller. Maximum water shed design. Newly
designed tapered exhaust bezel can add buoyancy to operator when
snorkeling or top cruising. Redundant depth protection, alarm sounds at
95 feet, power shuts down at 100 feet. Ergonomically designed.

X-treme X151 Sea Scooter gear box uses hardened steel gears and quality
steel,
no maintenance bearings on both ends of all gear shafts ensuring smooth
quiet operation and long life. This type of gear box is available only
on the X-treme X-151 Sea Scooter.

This picture of the standard plastic gear box used on all
other sea scooters shows all gears are plastic
and gear shafts are anchored in plastic and rely on plastic for the
gear shaft bearings. These plastic gear boxes have a life expectancy of
about six months under normal use.
