Safety Tips
Before Riding Your Scooter the first time and every time. Familiarize yourself with your
new
electric scooter before you ride.
These electric scooters
are not a toy. They are intended for use by adults or for children
under the supervision of an adult.Read and understand your scooter manual Please check the scooter's equipment including but not limited to, the nuts and bolts, steering, brakes and all controls, frame, wheels and tires to make sure that your scooter is properly assembled. Always wear an approved helmet, elbow, kneepads, and other safety equipment while riding these or any other scooter. Ride slowly until you become familiar with your scooter allowing for extra stopping distance. Avoid riding your scooter on gravel, sand, grass or rough surfaces. Don't start out riding in the street. Find a park, empty parking lot or other low traffic area to practice in first. Do not dart out of driveways or from between parked cars. Never ride on sidewalks. Do not attempt to jump with or perform other "tricks" with these electric scooters. Do not ride on slick or wet surfaces. Do not ride "double". These scooters are designed for one rider at a time Keep your hands, face, feet and hair away from all moving parts at all times. Maintain proper air pressure in the tires Pocket bikes with racing slicks should not be used on wet or slippery roads. Observe all safety and warning labels on your scooter and in your scooter manual. Operators must comply with all local laws and regulations. Check with your local police or department of motor vehicles to determine local requirements. The end user of these products is solely responsible for any injury arising from the proper or improper use of these electric scooters. Ride very cautiously until you
